About me and my therapy practice

Many different reasons can bring us to therapy. You may be struggling with emotional difficulties, finding meaning, be going through a transition, experiencing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, or simply feel that something just isn't right. My approach focuses on assisting you to work through dynamics that may be keeping you in a way of being that is inhibiting or painful, so that you can connect with more vitality and reach for your potential.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, BPC and BACP registered. I work in private practice on zoom and face to face, and have worked within the NHS, most recently in a specialist Trauma Service at the Tavistock Clinic. When working with trauma I adopt a flexible approach, and may include psycho-education or focus on stabilisation.

I provide a secure and non-judgmental space where you can explore the difficulties that you seek help with. Whether your problems are rooted in the past or something more recent, I believe long lasting change is possible by exploring the underlying meaning of your thoughts and feelings, behaviour, and relationships with others.

I combine in-depth psychotherapeutic expertise with extensive experience as a senior yoga teacher, trainer and mentor, incorporating mindfulness and allowing space to explore the interconnectedness between the physiological/somatic phenomena with affect and psychological understanding. Areas of interest are loss, relationship, and cross-cultural issues.
