About me and my therapy practice

Deciding to take up therapy can feel like a daunting and uncertain step. If something just doesn't seem right in you, or if you are suffering in some way, please feel welcome to explore with me whether therapy is something you think might be helpful for you at this time in your life.

I am a registered psychotherapist (MA, MBACP) and work in private practice in Raynes Park (West Wimbledon), Gower Street in Central London, and at The Awareness Centre in Tooting.

I work as an honorary psychotherapist in the specialist Trauma Unit at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, and have worked with a range of individuals with complex and enduring mental health difficulties. My work is predominantly open ended but short term treatment is also an option.

I offer a confidential, non-judgmental safe space to think together about what might be troubling you. My aim is to assist you with your emotional wellbeing, help you gain understanding of your relationships with others, and insight into your feelings, ideas and moments of significance in your life.

Psychotherapy endeavours to facilitate change, or to help you find ways of managing, so that you can lead a more meaningful life.

I am also a senior yoga teacher (YAP accredited) and have extensive experience of working with mindfulness, somatic symptoms, and the link between the mind and body.

Simply email or call me to discuss further, or to arrange an initial consultation. Assessment consultations usually take place over two sessions. During this time we can think together about whether psychodynamic therapy is something that is suitable for you, while you can ask questions, experience how I work, and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.

Off street parking is available. I am a few minutes walk from the 57 bus, or a 10-15 minutes walk from Raynes Park station.
