About me and my therapy practice
Many different reasons can bring us to therapy. You may be struggling with emotional difficulties, finding meaning, be going through a transition. You may be experiencing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, or simply feel that something just isn't right. My approach focuses on assisting you to work through dynamics that may be keeping you in a way of being that is inhibiting or painful, so that you can connect with more vitality, reach for your potential, and lead a more fulfilling life.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, BPC and BACP registered. I work in private practice in South West London (on zoom and face to face), and within the NHS, where I provide staff counselling, wellbeing trainings, short-term interventions, and stress management to staff of the Trust.
I provide a secure and non-judgmental space where you can explore the difficulties that you seek help with. Whether your problems are rooted in the past or something more recent, I believe long lasting change is possible by exploring the underlying meaning of your thoughts and feelings, behaviour, and relationships with others.
I combine in-depth psychotherapeutic expertise with extensive experience as a senior yoga teacher, trainer and mentor, working with the body, the breath, mindfulness and groups. Areas of interest are stress/anxiety, relationship issues, and cross-cultural issues.
