About me and my therapy practice
I understand how difficult it can be to step forward and ask for help at a time when you are feeling vulnerable. The intention of my work is to help you by creating an environment of ease, where you can feel safe and secure to talk about the things that are troubling you.
The majority of my work is with helping people regain their confidence, help with coping strategies for anxiety suffers and working to regain/enable or reconnect with elements of themselves. I do this through learnt skills and knowledge, with a great deal of compassion, integrity and acceptance.
The foundation of my work with clients is predominently Person-centred, although I am an Integrative Counsellor with many ways of working at my disposal in order to enable and assist deeper exploration during sessions, in the hope you can gain a greater level of understanding and resolution.
I work from a practice room in Exminster. Details and photos can be found on my website. The rooms are welcoming and comforting in size, easily accessible by public transport and the M5, with plenty of parking.
