I am available between the hours of 9.30 - 8pm for sessions. I will reply to emails during working hours and as soon as possible.
I will reply to answerphone messages left where permission has been given to call back, but will not answer phone numbers I do not recognise due to confidentiality and possible appropriateness of the environment I am my be in.
About me and my therapy practice

I understand how difficult it can be to step forward and ask for help at a time when you are feeling vulnerable and wanting to make sense of your emotions and the situations around you. The intention of my work is to help you by creating an environment of ease, where you can feel safe and secure to talk about the things that are troubling you.
The majority of my work is with helping people regain their confidence, help with coping strategies for anxiety suffers and working to regain/enable or reconnect with elements of themselves. Building self esteem and the ability to do things which once created doubt and fear.
The foundation of my work with clients is predominently Person-centred, although I am an Integrative Counsellor with many ways of working at my disposal (CBT, Inner Child, Exposure and Response Therapy etc) in order to enable and assist deeper exploration during sessions, in the hope you can gain a greater level of understanding and resolution.
Before the Pandemic I worked from a practice room in Exminster, which I hope to return to in the near future. Details and photos can be found on my website. The rooms are welcoming and comforting in size, easily accessible by public transport and the M5, with plenty of parking.
I am currently working via Zoom and Telephone, which means we don't have to worry about parking or traffic routes! Appointments can be attended from the comfort of your own home with a cup of tea or coffee in hand. It's just as effective as face to face work and ensures, right now, that everyone stays safe.
My first session
I offer an initial 20-30 minute free Telephone or Zoom Consultation, so you can get a feel for me and so we can discuss your needs.
Our first sessions last upto but nolonger than an hour. This will be used to complete some basic paperwork, discuss your needs and how we might work together.
