About me and my therapy practice
I can offer a warm, comfortable, confidential, safe space to talk. Talking therapy can help people with many varied life difficulties.
At times people have to cope with traumatic experiences and events or deal with developmental disorders, depression, anxiety, harmful emotions, behaviours or addiction issues.
With one to one therapy, I can help people to talk through these difficult issues and help them to understand what they are thinking, feeling and experiencing.
Counselling can and does change lives.
I also use Equine and Animal Assisted psychotherapies to encompass a range of treatments, tools and interventions to promote physical and mental health well-being.
Horses, in particular, make great companions for therapy because they can mirror and respond to human behaviour and emotions. No horse or animal experience is necessary for these sessions.
I can offer:
-- One to one counselling sessions.
- Equine psychotherapy sessions available one to one, or as arranged group workshops.
- ‘Walk and Talk’: Walking therapy available around beautiful, private farmland.
- Opportunities to engage in ‘connection’ with dogs, horses and other livestock.
