About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified and experienced therapist working at West London Therapy Practice close to Euston Square, Warren Street and Great Portland Street underground stations.

I provide counselling and psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults.

I practice in a gentle, collaborative way - at all times working in my clients’ best interests.

I am governed by the ethical standards and codes of practice set by FPC, BPC and BACP.

At any age we can find ourselves out of our depth, and/or in the midst of despair and loneliness, but it might feel like the right time to unburden yourself, and to let go of things that you haven’t been able to share with anyone, or it may be that you simply don’t know what is going on, and you just need a safe, quiet space in which to think.  Losing somebody important, or the end of a relationship, are situations that can be hard to come to terms with alone and life, itself, can be experienced as too much to endure.  Perhaps relating to your family, friends or colleagues is repeatedly problematic or you are beginning to question who you are.

I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy which means I usually work with clients over longer periods of time on a weekly/twice-weekly basis. I am concerned with listening to you, and trying to help you become aware of and understand how past experiences, often from childhood, are impacting your present wellbeing and your responses to others.

I appreciate that you might feel unsure about having therapy, or about what is troubling you, so it is helpful to have an initial consultation with me to explore what will be useful for you. It is a chance for you to find out whether I am someone you could talk to. Please know my practice is an ethical one, and highly confidential at all times.
