About me and my therapy practice

Experiencing anxiety, fear, stuck in a rut or feeling very low - accessing psychotherapy can help you work with and resolve difficult emotional issues that may be blocking how you want to live. You may be finding relationships hard going, repeating the same patterns, or finding it difficult to feel close to people.

I am an experienced psychotherapist working with a broad range of clients in the NHS and private practice. I offer counselling and psychotherapy both short-term and open-ended to individuals.I practice at Bloomsbury St. close by Tottenham Court Road and Goodge St tube stations and in Brockley in South East London on the Southern rail line and Overground.

Talking to a professional allows you to share the things that may be troubling you in a confidential and non-judgemental space. Examining your inner world and exploring feelings and habits that have gone unrecognised can allow you to create positive shifts in mind and enable change. By looking at your life, both past and present, it’s possible to become aware of patterns and motivations that may have been hard to make sense of alone.

Speaking to a therapist is different to the kind of conversations possible with friends, family, even partners. Meeting weekly creates a reliable and safe space to explore what is happening for you.

If you would like to know more, email me to arrange an initial meeting. The initial meeting is an hour and a half long and gives a sense of how we might work together and costs £60. If you decide to continue, we will meet weekly on the same day and time each week. Weekly sessions are for 50 minutes on a day and time that we both agree and cost between £60 to £80.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from WPF Therapy, accredited by Roehampton University. I have twenty years of experience working in the public sector in arts education and disability and mental health services.
