About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling stuck? Fed up? Perhaps you've been here before and no matter how hard you try to take a different path you end up back in the same place again?

It can be difficult to understand why we do what we do. Human beings are creatures of habit and our habits and behaviours can take a long time to form and are not always helpful to us. It takes time and persistence to change along with patience and self-compassion.  By choosing me to be your therapist I can support you by working together to find out why you're struggling to "get unstuck" and find a way for you to overcome obstacles and move forward.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, Adhd, self-harm, low self-esteem and relationship problems.

I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor trained to use an integrative approach. My work offers a range of theories and interventions to cater to your needs.

In addition to my private practice I enjoy working with young people age 16-19 year olds in a Local college offering counselling support.

Practice description

I work with adults and young people offering a safe, confidential space for you to talk without fear of being judged.

Sessions last 50 minutes. Short and long-term work is offered online through Zoom, skype or telephone.

The professional relationship between client and counsellor is an important part of therapy. If you think I could be the right counsellor for you then please get in touch by email or telephone.

My first session

At your first session, I'll gather some information from you and spend some time discussing your expectations of counselling and how best we might work together. You'll have the opportunity to discuss any concerns you might have and ask questions.

From there we can explore what has initially brought you to counselling and go from there.
