About me and my therapy practiceExperiencing and struggling with unhelpful behaviour patterns or processing prolonged feelings of loss, uncertainty, anxiety, stress, disconnection, frustration, anger, sadness or loneliness can have a significant impact on all aspects of our lives. We all need support at different times in life, seeking professional help at these times can be very rewarding in moving your life in the direction you want. I have a pluralistic philosophy to therapy, which is that a number of different therapeutic models can be explored, finding what best suits you session by session.
Practice descriptionI am an experienced humanistic, person centred counsellor who works with all the issues I have listed on this page. I offer a comfortable space and an empathic, accepting and non-judgemental environment where we can explore and you can process healthier responses to the obstacles and pitfalls of life.
My first sessionThe therapeutic relationship we develop has the potential to be a life changing experience. Our initial consultation will take the form of a conversation about what has led you to seeking out therapy. I will answer any questions you may have about therapy and the way I work. We will also get a feel for our compatibility in working together.
