About me and my therapy practice
I work from a quiet and pleasant room in Abergavenny, in a residential street close to the town centre and car parks. There are parking restrictions on my street but clients may park in my driveway.
My method of working is integrative - which means I can tailor my approach to suit your needs - but with an overall emphasis on psychodynamic, relational, and archetypal psychology. Many of my clients are long-term and working at depth, but I am happy to work short-term from a more solution-focused perspective. I can offer some early evening appointments.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak I have been telephone counselling. I have discovered that the optimum length for a phone session is around 45 minutes, and the fee for this is £35.
My first session
I invite prospective clients to try an exploratory session before committing to a course of regular sessions. This is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to counselling and how I might be able to help you. The fee for this preliminary meeting is £25.
