About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified, Integrative Counsellor, with experience of working with people who are struggling with a wide range of emotional and life issues. I currently see Individuals, both privately, and within the NHS.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety and depression, grappling with significant life events, or simply trying to find your place in the world, I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where together we can explore your experience and work out how best to support you going forwards.
Connection and relationship are at the heart of my work and my starting point is always to create a space where you feel able to be yourself and to share whatever is on your mind. There are no expectations of you - no rights or wrongs. We will work with what you bring and at a pace that works best for you.
As an Integrative therapist, I am able to draw on a number of well-established therapeutic approaches. This enables me to shape the way we work around your particular needs and what it is you would like to get out of therapy.
I take a holistic view of the body and mind, focusing not only on what is thought, felt, and sensed, but also on what is happening in the body. Our physical responses can tell us a lot about what is going on for us, and becoming aware of, and re-connecting with our body can support healing and growth.
My first session
I offer private therapy from a quiet home practise in St Albans.
I like to offer prospective clients an initial, short telephone conversation, where we can work out whether you feel therapy is for you and also whether I am the right therapist to support you going forwards.
At this point, we can arrange a full assessment session where we can get to know each other a little better and explore in more depth what it is that has brought you to therapy. The assessment session lasts for 60 minutes and is charged at £40
Future sessions last for 50 minutes and are priced at £60
