About me and my therapy practice

Bilingual Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

BACP and UKCP accredited

Together we will work through whatever issues you bring to the sessions at your pace.

I work with clients face to face, in the outdoors or if preferred we can use an online platform like Zoom.

I'm a friendly, open and approachable person, I enjoy the work I do and this shows in my ability to form good working relationships with clients.  I am honest and fair and when needed I will be challenging - all to help you work towards your goals and aims.

Along with my Person Centred Foundations I integrate elements from Psychotherapy and other techniques and therapeutic methods to best meet your needs as my client.  For example - psychodynamic, Solution Focused Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming, Mindfulness Approaches, Eco Therapy (therapy in the outdoors), Emotional Freedom Therapy (tapping).

The relationship is key for me - this will provide a platform for all other therapeutic methods.

Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) clinician.

I am also a trained and experienced Mediator and offer conflict resolution services, this could be for family members, couples, neighbours, tenant/landlord, workplace.

I can work with you over a short period of time or longer term, again this will be dependent on your needs and wishes, we can discuss this at your first session and review progress regularly.

I have many years experience in the voluntary sector working with families and young people, as well as experience counselling adults who have experienced sexual abuse, trauma, addictions,  domestic abuse and children and young people with anxiety, depression, social and behavioural difficulties.

My passion is working alongside clients to build resilience, help them reach their potential and live fulfilled, contented lives.
