About me and my therapy practice
Support that makes a difference.
I offer a warm and friendly service for adults, students and young people 13+
Experience has shown me that what my clients value above all is having someone to listen to and understand them enabling them to make beneficial changes or accept difficult situations.
My work is always underpinned by building a trusting, warm, empathic and confidential relationship with my clients.
You might be struggling with challenges that are currently present in your life, or maybe things have happened in the past that remain unresolved and are causing you problems.
Being able to talk these through in a confidential and non-judgemental setting can be hugely beneficial and provide relief enabling you to get on with your life.
I am an integrative counsellor drawing on a range of skills to best help you, depending on the issues you bring to counselling.
I qualified from York St John University in 2006 with the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
I have counselled adults in both my private practise and the voluntary sector, I also currently work counselling young people in a secondary school and have counselled students at university.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework which includes having regular supervision with a qualified supervisor.
Please ring or email me and I’ll answer any questions you may have, there is no obligation to take anything further.
