Therapist - London

London W1G
Sessions from £60.00

  • Flexible hours available

Currently, I am working online Monday - Friday and have availability on Saturdays to meet face-to-face in Harley Street, Central London.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Central London. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I integrate different therapeutic modalities to suit your needs. I am a strong believer in the uniqueness of every person I see and the importance for each person to feel in control of their therapy.

I am experienced and interested in working with anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, loss and trauma.

I specialise in working with clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, perfectionism,  and difficult relationships or childhoods. I believe in gently working towards building each client's sense of self-worth, confidence and choice in their lives.

I am trained in and draw upon Person-Centred  Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy,  Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy,  Systemic Therapy, Grief models and Trauma theories. However, the most important thing to me is to build a safe therapeutic relationship where clients can feel supported and empowered.

I trained in London and have completed a Master of Counselling and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Supervision.

Throughout my career, I have worked with adults and young adults. I initially worked in the charity sector where I helped to manage a counselling agency with a large team of clinicians working with a diverse client group. I currently work in the NHS in Staff Psychology and run my private practice in Harley Street.

Additionally, I am a qualified and experienced clinical and counselling supervisor working with individuals and groups.

Practice description

I offer flexible appointments for either brief or long-term therapy. Currently, I offer online video sessions for £75 and in-person sessions for £90. My concession rate is £60 for Students, NHS Staff and those on low income.

I also very much like to offer a free 15-minute phone call so you can ask questions about how I work and we can discuss whether we might want to book an initial session together.

Please do feel free to get in touch via the enquiry form and we can discuss the potential session times that suit you or answer any questions.

My first session

During the initial session, I would complete an assessment with you to fully understand the difficulties you are experiencing so that we can collaboratively decide what you would like to achieve from therapy and the way we will tackle this together (how many sessions, approach etc). If we then decided the fit was right, we could agree to ongoing sessions either short term or long term and at weekly or fortnightly frequency.
