About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, which means that in my practice I combine person centred and psychodynamic approaches.

As a counsellor I provide clients with support and a safe, non-judgmental and empathic space for emotional and psychological exploration and a place to exercise the change. I work with individual clients who are experiencing difficult times in their lives and I am able to work with a diverse range of ethnic groups. I work together with clients in order to make sense of what is happening in clients lives, and help to gain a deeper understanding of reasons that have brought them to counselling. I am confident in adjusting my interventions and different theoretical models to suit my client needs.

Being born and raised outside of England, I am able to connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds. I am fluent in both English and Polish. I understand that stress, anxiety and feelings of being not understood or heard can often seem daunting and impossible to overcome. I believe that taking therapy can help in learning to express feelings in a healthy way and to find better ways of coping with problems and trauma. I am able to help clients to understand themselves better and to see the situation more clearly. I can help clients to find healthier ways to deal with anxiety, self-esteem issues and can help clients work through their childhood and adult trauma.

I am passionate about understanding human mind and how daily social interactions influence our mental health. I am currently studying towards obtaining a Psychology degree and I am due to finalise the course in 2022.
