I'm a qualified and experienced Integrative & ISTDP Psychodynamic psychotherapist in Farnborough & online. I work with a range of conditions, my specialist areas are anxiety, depression, addictions, anger, bereavement, personality disorders & chronic fatigue.

I'm currently undergoing advanced training in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an accelerated form of dynamic psychotherapy. This active approach focuses on processing emotional blockages and changing maladaptive response patterns which are responsible for symptoms such as anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.

As an emotion-focused, experiential therapy ISTDP aims to get to the root of your difficulties in as short a time-frame as possible to enable you to overcome symptoms and reach your full potential. If you would like to find out more about this type of therapy please contact me or visit my website.

I trained as an integrative counsellor incorporating different counselling theories into a therapeutic relational framework. I believe we are all individuals needing individual approaches. The counselling theories incorporated in my training are transpersonal, psychodynamic, humanistic and existential. Integrative counselling provides a flexible, effective and helpful way of counselling with the healing coming from our therapeutic relationship.

I have 15 years’ experience supporting people experiencing various difficulties including drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, mental health problems, domestic abuse, long-term illness, disabilities and workplace issues.

What to expect in your first session

Our first session together will provide you with the opportunity to explore the difficulties that you are having, your treatment goals and how I can help you.

Length of treatment

The length of the treatment is up to you and this will depend on your treatment goals. I suggest that new patients have an initial 4 sessions to get a feel for the therapy and we work together on a treatment plan.

Fees

£70.00 per session 60 minutes

Concessions

Concessions may be available. Please feel free to discuss this at your initial appointment or at any time during therapy if your circumstances require you to do so.

Trainee counsellors (any level)

£40 per 60 minute session

Cancellations, missed sessions and breaks

A minimum of 48 hrs notice is required to cancel a booked session, the full fee is payable if you cancel within this time. If you miss a session and have not cancelled, the full fee is due. Where possible 1-month notice is required for holidays and breaks in therapy. If I must cancel a session, no fee is payable.

I provide supervision in person at my office in Frimley Green, Camberley or online via Zoom. Daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available.
