About me and my therapy practice

Hello, My name Sukhi and thank you in advance for looking at my profile. I am a  registered member of the BACP and am a Qualified Integrative Counsellor.

So are you at a place where everything feels overwhelming? Feeling Lonely, Isolated, Anxious and Lost?, Discontent with Life, Relationships, Work ? Would you like to explore this in a safe space and not feel judged? Are these thoughts and feelings making you feel powerless over everything?

Many times we all need a listening ear and a space where what we share is kept confidential. I can offer you a safe and secure place where you will be acknowledged, accepted and most importantly listened to with empathy, compassion and treated with respect and dignity.

Main Approaches Person Centred/Psychodynamic.

I draw upon the client's current issues/situation and the presenting issues which are arising and will work with client's past experiences in order to gain a full understanding of where they were, with what is happening in the here and now to start supporting them in where they would like to be moving forward at their pace.

I will support you in this self discovery journey and we will let the healing begin.

Talking through these difficulties, overcoming obstacles and reaching your goals will always be the priority.

As I am a Integrative counsellor I can be flexible in my work and can use other approaches in order to meet your needs as required and will tailor my approach as all clients are unique.

Practice description

In working together I am here to listen to you, talking and exploring  your past or present experiences, your thoughts and feelings left from this and the challenges you are facing,  what you would like to change?

Having a safe reflective space to address this and working on building your self-esteem, confidence, self- worth and starting to feel empowered again gently over the time of sessions.

I will be your sounding board as we navigate through this journey together.

I love what I do as helping clients has it's own sense of reward.

I work with a holistic approach- looking at every area in your life with your permission to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and like to be creative in bringing in new approaches as needed.

I have supervision in place in order to do my best in my work which effectively means I do my best by you.

My first session

I offer initial short telephone consultation upon query and charge £10.

It would be 30 minutes to discuss why you have come to therapy, what are your hopes and expectations and a brief pre-assessment of presenting issues.

You are in control and do not have to feel obligated to start the sessions if what I can offer is not suitable after discussion.

As I am a member of the BACP- I adhere at all times to the ethical framework and guidelines.
