About me and my therapy practice
I have always been interested in people and why they think the way they think and why they do the things they do. Having made many mistakes myself and repeated self-defeating patterns, I embarked on my first counselling course and studied an OCR certificate in Counselling which was awarded to me in June 2007.
Intrigued and fascinated by the subject, by people, their behaviour and myself, I continued to the next stage of training, which was Ulster University Diploma in Counselling (with Distinction) and saw my first client in 2008.
I qualified as an Integrative counsellor in 2010. As an integrative practitioner, I use a range of theories and techniques to meet the needs of clients, with a range of issues, across the lifespan. I have a particular interest in working with children and creatively with adults.
