About me and my therapy practice
I provide psychodynamic therapy which explores how unconscious thoughts affect current behaviour and explores unresolved issues which can provide us with coping techniques and an understanding of our needs to enable us to move forward.
I offer a safe, confidential environment to explore thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental way. I work from home but I am available for home visits or phone calls any time of the day/evening and weekends.
I am qualified for practice and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (B.A.C.P) and work within the ethical framework.
I have regular monthly supervision in accordance within the B.A.C.P ethical framework.
My first session
In the first session you will decide whether I am the right counsellor for you and a therapeutic relationship can be formed.
I will ask a few open-ended questions to access your situation.
Weekly visits are more beneficial, however, this depends on your requirements.
We will review the work done together regularly to explore the therapeutic relationship/change.
