About me and my therapy practice

Hi, thank you for looking at my profile. Life can’t be always plain sailing and there will be times when things can become overwhelming. Are you struggling at the moment? Sometimes it can be difficult to find a way out when we are feeling really down, and it’s not always easy talking about your innermost feelings with friends or family.

If you are looking for a counsellor, it is the first step to say that you may need a helping hand to make changes in your life, to be heard and to heal. I am a predominantly a person-centred counsellor and I believe that you have all the tools and strengths within yourself, to be the best version of you; but for whatever reason, you are finding things difficult. Using reflection, genuine empathy, and a non-judgemental space we can work together to help you express and explore your feelings in a safe environment.

My first session

I offer a 30 minute free initial meeting so that we can introduce each other and I can explain how I work. This will give you a chance to see if you feel able to work with me and I can answer any questions that you may have.
