About me and my therapy practice
Often friends and family are not able to give the quality of attention that we need in order to express our real feelings, and they are not always able to accept us without judgement. This can make it hard to find space to process our emotions after difficult experiences.
When a difficult event happens such as a bereavement or redundancy; or finding ourselves struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, or overwhelm; we can be greatly helped by having someone to support us as we find a way back to a place of coping and even thriving again.
I can work alongside you to find a way forward or enable the healing of deep wounds from the past. People have always found it easy to talk to me. I hope you will too.
I will help you find the strength or resources you need. I may suggest ideas that could help but you are in the driving seat throughout the process. I aim to tailor my work to the individual and see my role as assisting you in your own personal journey.
Being listened to, understood, valued and supported, can have a profound effect on how we feel about ourselves and enable progress that might not otherwise be possible.
I hope you will come and experience this for yourself.
