About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with stress or anxiety? What do you need to help you feel better? Someone impartial and non-judgmental to talk to? To listen to you with empathy, perhaps to help you make sense of your own emotions, thoughts, decisions and reactions? Maybe you want to consider your life holistically, resolve problems, build resilience, and set and achieve goals for yourself?
I have 20 years experience of helping people with emotional difficulties and unhelpful patterns of behaviour. As a BACP accredited, registered counsellor and Fusion certified therapeutic life coach, I can offer you a safe, confidential space to talk where together we can make sense of what is going on for you. I can also help you understand how the mind works, and how to use your ‘whole mind’ to deal with overwhelming emotions, which so often prevent us from coping well with stressful events, including traumatic experiences. You will be shown how to relax and reduce anxiety quickly and regain a sense of calm control.
Once you are feeling emotionally well enough, or if you already are, I can work with you in a coaching capacity to help you decide what you really want out of life, to plan and take action to get there, while feeling supported and encouraged within a professional, therapeutic relationship.
