About me and my therapy practice
I have a particular interest in working with people with low self-esteem, that struggle in their relationships – unsure about when it’s okay to say no to requests from people, and fearful of the potential consequences. This can be particularly acute for people in recovery from addiction – it can be excruciating to navigate feelings and relationships, without using the addictive substance/behaviour to numb out the pain.
I know that I’m not a fixer – I can’t fix other people. But I absolutely believe people don’t need fixing. In my experience, we generally need a bit of time and space to air our feelings, our stuckness, our chaotic inner experiences with all their pain and uncertainty. I can sit with that pain and uncertainty, gently explore it with you, and support you to (re)discover your inner values and self-worth.
I see clients in Glasgow City Centre. Please call, text or email me to arrange a ~15 minute chat (via Zoom or phone) to see if it feels like I might be a good fit for you.
