About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Claire, I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and offer daytime and evening appointments to anyone over the age of 16. I appreciate it takes courage to start counselling and it can sometimes feel daunting. You may want to work through difficult life-events, feel overwhelmed, or perhaps stuck and want help to explore and work through a particular issue. It is my aim to work alongside you in a professional, safe, warm and non-judgemental way to help you explore these aspects of your life, allowing you to regain control, so you are able to move forward and live life to the fullest.
I have worked with many different issues, such as depression, anxiety, low self esteem, suicidal ideation and self-harm amongst others. In addition to my private practice, I also continue to volunteer for Cruse Bereavement and a local hospice, supporting adults through times of grief and loss and those living with life limiting illness.
Asking for help is a sign of strength, often the first and most profound step towards becoming stronger and better equipped to live a happy life. Together, we can explore new ways forward to help promote personal growth, fresh insight, empowerment and a renewed strength, where you are able to find your own solutions and improve how you feel about your life.
