About me and my therapy practice

Hello - I am Stacey. I have been helping people with life's problems for over ten years now and I may be able to help you too.

No doubt if you have found yourself reading this you are seeking some support with one or many of life’s problems or hurdles.

Taking steps to get help takes courage and reading this is a good starting point. If you like what you read the next step would be to contact me via email and we can arrange an initial session.

Lots of website information can bombard people with information they may not understand. Different approaches and therapeutic jargon. It's important that who you work with is a professional - I am accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling. This means I have done the relevant training and am committed to continued professional development.

What is Counselling & Psychotherapy?

It’s normally weekly, at the same time each week and sessions are for 50 mins.

It can be short or long term depending on your life problem and the impact it is having on you. This can also depend on what other support you have in your life.

The approach will be tailored to you and what you need.

I am also a trained clinical supervisor and have been offering supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and those working in the helping professions for over five years.

I am based in Tulse Hill near Brixton.

Practice description

I practise from home in my consulting room and online via zoom.

Sessions are always 50 mins and generally have a beginning  (a check in), a middle (where you are able to use the space to bring your life problem) and an end (a time for reflection from me and also yourself).

I always suggest a initial session to anyone that makes an enquiry as this is the best way to know if I am the right therapist for you.

My room is designed for you to be as comfortable as possible and there is a WC and water if you need.

Your sessions will take place at the same time each week, so do let me now your availability when you make your enquiry.

I do have pets at home (dogs) so if you have allergies I am not the therapist for you (unless we work online together).

My first session

I always recommend that people have an initial session. This will give you the chance to meet me and see if you want to continue working with me. I do charge the normal session price for this £70 and it would be 50 mins - a normal session time.

If you just wanted a quick chat on the phone or on zoom for questions that cannot be answered over email I would also be happy to offer this.

I also recommend that you choose a few therapists to do this with before you make your final decision.
