About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced therapist offering short or long term therapy.
I run a successful practice and have helped clients with difficulties such as anxiety, trauma, panic, stress, depression, family and relationship issues and issues of identity or loss.
Our past experiences help shape our perception of ourselves and these experiences influence the way we interact with others in the world around us in the here and now.
Counselling offers you the opportunity to identify unhelpful behaviour patterns, values or thoughts. It can help you better understand and accept your experiences so that you may take decisions about your life and future that feel truly right for you .
Talking about your problems in an environment that is safe, empathetic and confidential can also help lessen feelings of anxiety, isolation and hopelessness.

I abide by the professional and ethical frameworks of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and National Counselling Society.
I am a registered practitioner on the BACP Register.
I abide by current GDPR Laws and am registered with the Information Commissioners Office.
I offer a modern, comfortable and confidential counselling space within my home. It is easily accessible via public transport links as well as car/bike and there is plenty of free local parking.
I am currently offering an on-line counselling service only.
My first session
Our first session will last approximately 1 hour. My hope is that you experience it as an informal and reassuring chat.
I ask questions about you, your health and wellbeing, and your current difficulties.
I will take brief notes during this session. These provide me with a useful source of information whilst we get to know each other better.
