About me and my therapy practice
The first step to getting better is reaching out to get help, so well done in this first step to prioritising your mental health.
I work as an integrative counsellor and I provide a broad based therapeutic service to people of all ages and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy working with adults who are feeling anxious and depressed or have relationship problems and patterns that they feel they cannot move on from. When I bring self-awareness and understanding alongside your feelings it really opens up in-depth work which is a joy to work with.
I have lots of experience working with work/life balance and juggling all our responsibilities and putting one's own self care at the bottom of the list, and it is a pleasure to bring rebalance to those who have forgotten themselves amongst the relentless 24/7 availability that engulfs society.
I work with relationship problems, depression, anxiety, divorce, PND, general anxiety disorder, borderline personality disorder.
I am currently working online but can also work face to face in COVID secure premises.
I offer a safe, confidential place for clients to explore their difficulties working towards deeper understanding and a way forward.
Issues could include; depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, grief, loss, divorce, abandonment, hopelessness, self-harm, eating disorders and domestic violence.

My first session
My first session is really a thorough getting to know each other session. It is important that you feel like this is the right fit to help you get the best out of counselling.
I will provide you with some time to tell me your story and what is troubling you at the moment without fear of judgment. I will also seek to relive you of your immediate level of distress so you can move forward with some more clarity about where you go from here. This is usually to arrange times to meet on a regular basis.
