About me and my therapy practice
"When life gets tough we often put on a Mask, so the rest of the world assumes we are fine, despite the turmoil we are suffering inside which can lead us to being stuck with our feelings"
I am an Accredited Person Centred Counsellor, which means I adapt my style of working to meet the needs of the client individually.
I have worked in private practice for the past 6 years, prior to this I have worked in GP Practices, worked with the Domestic Violence Helpline, and many other organisations.
I currently also work with young people from 5 years upwards, working in schools. When working with the younger children, this is more art/play therapy based work.
Also experienced in delivering group work.
In order for counselling to work, the client has to trust the therapist in order to build the relationship, it is with this is mind that I am happy to carry out one 30 minute consultation session with new clients if required.
Please feel free to contact me for an unconditional chat.
