About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and have had my private practice since 2013. I also work at Phoenix for Health in Heybridge and I am a mental health volunteer for Futures in Mind as well where I run a support group for people struggling with mental illness or recovering from alcohol/drug misuse.  I place trust and respect for my clients at the centre of all my work. By offering a confidential and healthy space, where my clients are truly listened to without judgement, we create a therapeutic alliance together. This enables growth and a deeper understanding and creates opportunities to move forward to a more content, congruent way of life.

Being a person-centred therapist, I encourage and support the client and guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.

I offer short term and long term counselling options, a limited number of concessionary spaces and I can be available day time and some evenings. I specialise in helping people with: obsessive thoughts, depression, anxiety, low self esteem.

The first step of making contact can feel quite daunting, so please feel free to simply email or text me, in confidence, if preferred. Alternatively you can call me for a discussion about your needs.
