Call for participants - The Transition and Transformation process to become an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Therapist: A study using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis

Reda Hamam

My name is Reda Hamam; I am a psychotherapist at Improving Access to Psychological Services (IAPT).  I am doing a qualitative research on the transition and transformation process to moving into IAPT service for (non IAPT trained) High Intensity Psychotherapists. The research is being conducted as part of a doctorate in Health and Social Care Practice and will eventually be published as a thesis as part of the doctorate study.
 
I am currently looking for participants for my research project that will commence in January 2018.
 
Inclusion criteria:  Experienced psychotherapists and counsellors (non IAPT trained) who provide High Intensity Therapy in IAPT services ( Step 3). ‘Experienced’ psychotherapists comprises: qualified and registered with British Association of Behaviour and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP), British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or British Psychological Society (BPS); accredited or eligible for accreditation with these bodies.
