About me and my therapy practice
Supervision may be a mandatory part of practice but the right supervisor is crucial in aiding your development as a therapist. having a supervisor that you trust and who will offer you the multi faceted elements of supervision are important to our growth and learning.
I use a variety of supervision models allowing me to help you consider parallel processes or to look at your client work through a different lens. I encourage reflexivity and will gently challenge where appropriate.
Practice description
Supervision is a collaborative process and it is important to me that you experience it as such. It should be a safe and trusting space where you can reflect and challenge yourself with the guidance offered by a supervisor. I also want you to know that as part of the supervision relationship I offer, it is important that you know you can contact me between sessions if you have a difficult session or an ethical dilemma you need to talk through.
My first session
Our first meeting is something I offer free of charge so we can discuss your experience of supervision and what you would like if we decide to work together. I can explain what I am able to offer so that you can then decide if you feel I am the right supervisor for you and your practice.
