About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome. I specialise in helping individuals who may feel overwhelmed by the demands of others, struggle with saying "no," or find themselves lost in the expectations around them. Together, we’ll explore how to create boundaries that feel good to you, build self-compassion, and help you reconnect with your true desires and needs. My role is to help you feel empowered in your own journey, allowing you to find the confidence to embrace your voice and your worth. I am here to support you every step of the way. You’ll leave each session feeling more empowered and with the tools to start creating the life you deserve.
In our sessions, you’ll feel truly heard, valued, and understood. You’ll have the space to express yourself freely, without judgment, knowing that your feelings and experiences matter. We will work together to set goals that are meaningful to you, and I’ll guide you in taking small, intentional steps towards living a life that aligns with your values.
I’m a counsellor who has personally experienced the journey of learning to set boundaries and stop people-pleasing. I’ve learned how important it is to listen to and honour my own needs, and it’s this understanding that I bring to my work with clients. I know how difficult it can be to break free from patterns that keep you from living authentically.
Practice description
I am a person centre counsellor, meaning that the session pace will be led by you and your needs. My intention is that together we can challenge those ideas and beliefs that have been keeping you stuck or frustrated in order for you to move forwards in a mentally healthier frame of mind.
Building a trusting and honest relationship is at the forefront of my practice and I believe that within the right environment, awareness and acceptance of oneself is possible.
The time we spend together is for you to learn to trust yourself and your inner voice. Quieten those loud, critical opinions about what is best for you so that you can hear the kinder, more caring thoughts that will help you find a calmer, more accepting way of being.
As an experienced and qualified counsellor I can give you the tools to process and manage the challenges and barriers which have been keeping you stuck in this cycle.
My first session
I offer a 15 minute free chat before we start our sessions, for you to ask me any questions in order to help you decide if you feel we could work together.
If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange a time and day that suits for our first session and go from there.
