About me and my therapy practice
Are you living life between cultures? I’m a trauma-informed therapist with a multicultural perspective and a diverse background. I help people heal, grow bigger than their emotions, and shift unhelpful patterns affecting their lives and relationships.
I’m an experienced counsellor offering online therapy and outdoor counselling is held in Warwick, UK.
I support clients from all walks of life, but my lived experiences have inspired me to focus on helping adults from multicultural and international communities, including Adult Third-Culture Kids, Expats, Repats, and individuals in intercultural relationships.
Having walked a similar path, I understand that while our life experiences can be rich and colourful, they may also bring hidden challenges that create internal conflicts and lead to unhelpful coping mechanisms.
What's Impacting Your Life?
- Anxiety and stress leave you feeling overwhelmed and burned out at work, socially, or in your relationships.
- Struggling with your self-worth and self-esteem, feeling like you’re never quite enough.
- Overthinking and fear of making mistakes or failing, leaving you mentally exhausted.
- Struggling to say no or set healthy boundaries, leading to people-pleasing.
- Low mood or depression, feeling stuck or unmotivated.
- Feeling weighed down by guilt, shame, or regret.
- Uncertain about your identity, sense of belonging, or life choices.
- Challenges with cultural adjustment, whether at work or socially.
- Hidden grief or loss, especially when grieving from afar.
- Tension in relationships and struggling to navigate it alone.
Practice description
How Can I Help?
My clients often describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more empowered after our work together. How would you like counselling to help you?
Over the years, I’ve found great fulfilment in supporting adults who are navigating difficult emotions and unhelpful coping mechanisms, often rooted in Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN), emotional abuse, and traumatic experiences in adulthood. Together, we’ll unpack these complexities and help you move towards the kind of change you’d like to experience in your relationship with yourself and the people in your life.
My approach is compassionate, affirming, and sensitive to your cultural and lifestyle choices. I work empathetically with your unique needs and goals, providing a space where you can explore, reflect, process, and even experiment - without judgement or repercussion.
Whether you’re seeking clarity, self-trust, or a greater sense of control, we’ll focus on what works best for you and your life right now.
A Little About Me
I would describe my life journey as 'colourful,' shaped by different cultures, backgrounds, and a wide range of life and work experiences. I speak English and Thai.
I’m an integrative and trauma-informed counsellor. This means I'm trained in multiple approaches to therapy and I integrate different approaches into my work, depending on my client's needs.
I often lean into creativity in my work. You can expect anything from laughter and tears, colours and metaphors, to the odd grunting and jumping around together. I tend to adapt my delivery depending on your style.
At the centre of my approach are: developing self-awareness, befriending/tolerating emotions, building self-compassion, and self-trust. I aim to help you connect to the different aspects of yourself, so you can respond to your internal and external challenges differently.
My first session
Introductory Call
I offer a free 15-minute introductory chat for us to get a sense of each other, ask questions, and see if we may be the right fit.
I get that 15 minutes may not feel like much to determine if I'm the right counsellor for you. I encourage you to consider how you feel when you're talking to me...
- Do you feel comfortable enough just talking to me in general?
- Do you feel like you can ask me questions?
- Do you feel that I'm empathetic and interested in what you have to say?
- Do my responses feel relevant, respectful, and genuine to you?
If you're feeling alone, overwhelmed, and maybe a little frustrated and conflicted right now, you're not alone. Many of us experienced similar struggles at some point in life. But if it’s negatively impacting your life and relationships, let’s work through it together.
I'm a therapist who has also been a client, I remember this journey well. I hope to support you on your journey.
