About me and my therapy practice

Help During Difficult Times

I appreciate how challenging it can be to find a counsellor and understand that these directories can present an overload of information at a time you may simply be looking for help. I want to make this process as straightforward as possible for you…

In today’s unpredictable world, many feel overwhelmed by anxiety and sadness. People can often fall into negative thought patterns or seek unhealthy ways to cope with difficult emotions.

I offer a welcoming and accepting environment where clients can explore their strengths, identify their authentic desires, find new meaning, and discover solutions. My aim is to create a therapeutic space where clients will feel empowered to share their thoughts and feelings free from the fear of judgement.

I strive to build therapeutic relationships founded on genuine connection and empathy. I want to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe that true healing occurs when a person feels truly listened to and valued.

Practice description

As a counsellor, I have helped numerous individuals overcome challenges. By providing a safe space to talk, understanding behavioural patterns, and offering strategies for change, counselling has empowered my clients to reduce stress and reconnect to their true self.

But it is not just my professional experience that enables me to help people who are struggling. My own personal journey, filled with challenges and growth, has laid the foundation for my therapeutic approach. While every human being’s journey is unique, I have found that overcoming my personal issues has been invaluable in supporting others in dealing with similar issues.

It is useful to note that counselling is not always about addressing complex problems. Sessions may also be a time for reflection, exploring new perspectives, and finding a safe space to be truly heard. It can be a starting point for a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Counselling can provide some people with an improved quality of life. I have experienced and witnessed it daily: most people leave therapy feeling better, or at least opening the door towards being so.
