About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my practice, and thank you for considering this step in your journey.

I am a Person-Centred psychotherapist, trauma-informed and polyvagal-informed, dedicated to facilitating a process that encourages reconnection with your sense of safety and inner experience. In our work together, I aim to create a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where we can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. By being fully present with you, I support the conditions for personal growth to naturally emerge, without any pressure or expectation. This process is about fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and your journey, allowing space for healing and meaningful change, as you rediscover your own path forward.

My Approach

Empowering, Not Pathologising

I view human distress as a natural response to life’s challenges, not as a sign of illness. Instead of focusing on labels, we'll explore the ways you’ve adapted to navigate the world and help you find new, more supportive pathways forward.

Trauma-Informed and Somatic Awareness

Informed by Polyvagal Theory and the Power Threat Meaning Framework, I bring an understanding of how trauma and stress affect the body and mind. Together, we’ll explore your experiences in a way that feels safe and grounding, helping you reconnect with your inner balance and regulation.

Practice description

What You Can Expect

Through our work together, you may find:

  • Clarity and Self-Understanding: Gain insight into your emotions and the patterns that shape your experiences.
  • Healing and Growth: Process past wounds and move toward healing in a way that feels manageable and empowering.
  • Stronger Relationships: Cultivate healthier connections with yourself and others.
  • Resilience and Balance: Develop ways to navigate challenges with greater ease and confidence.

Collaborative and Flexible Therapy

For those navigating complex challenges, I offer a collaborative approach tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll build a shared understanding of your experiences and move through the healing process at your pace. Therapy is not linear, and I respect your rhythm, revisiting places of safety and exploration as needed.

A Safe and Inclusive Space

I welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life, creating a respectful, inclusive environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.

Moving Forward

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relational struggles, or self-exploration, my role is to help you feel more connected, resilient, and at ease with yourself. Therapy can lead to profound shifts, helping you build a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with who you are.

My first session

Initial Consultation

Our initial consultation is about creating a connection and ensuring you feel comfortable. This is a 20-minute phone or video call designed for us to get a sense of each other, not for deep exploration. It’s an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about the therapeutic process, and clarify any practical aspects. We'll also discuss the possibility of continuing therapy and explore what feels right for you moving forward.

Ongoing Therapy

In our ongoing sessions, we’ll build a trusting therapeutic relationship, grounded in empathy and understanding. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment, and accompany you on your journey of self-exploration. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, sensations, and experiences in a way that feels natural and safe.

This is a collaborative process, where the length and depth of our work will remain open to discussion. My role is to support and empower you, helping you uncover your own answers and develop a deeper sense of autonomy, growth, and healing at your pace. You’ll have the space to gain insights, explore your concerns, and reconnect with your inner strengths.
