About me and my therapy practice
I am a holistic, humanistic, and psychodynamic counsellor offering compassionate, inclusive, and tailored support for your mental and emotional well-being.
I adapt therapy to your unique needs, using approaches such as Transactional Analysis, Family Constellation Therapy, Relationship Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Rewind Technique, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversities (GSRD) theory. These approaches are especially effective for exploring the impact of trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and life challenges, while supporting personal growth and a positive self-image.
I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, queer, trans, and gender-questioning clients, and those in alternative relationship styles, including CNM/ENM, kink, and power exchange dynamics. Whether you come as an individual, couple, throuple, or more, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space informed by both lived experience and specialist GSRD theory.
For neurodivergent clients, I work through a neurodivergent-affirming lens, recognising that traditional approaches may overlook your unique experiences and ways of being. Many clients find this perspective makes therapy feel more validating, accessible, and aligned with who they are, ensuring you are met with genuine respect and understanding.
While I specialise in supporting LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and GSRD communities, my practice welcomes individuals from all backgrounds. This is a space where your individuality is respected, your story is heard, and you are supported without judgment.
My aim is to support you in developing self-acceptance, healing, and confidence. I will walk alongside you on your journey with care, empathy, and professional integrity.
I am committed to working safely, ethically, and effectively within the BACP Counselling and UK Hypnotherapy professional frameworks, continually enhancing my practice through ongoing education.
Practice description
I offer a free 20-minute assessment to determine if we’re a good fit for therapy, understand your needs and aims, and create a personalised therapy plan. Following this, we can schedule regular sessions in person or via Zoom as needed. Individual sessions are typically 1 hour but can be longer based on therapeutic need and presenting issues. The cost is £60 per hour, pro rata. Concessions are available for low-income clients and those experiencing hardship—please enquire if you are on a low income or receive UC/benefits. Couples therapy is £100 per couple for 90 minutes, with an additional £20 per additional partner.
I can provide one-to-one hypnotherapy and counselling, either in person in West Wales, SA39, or online, wherever you are, and I can also provide family constellations group sessions in person, location to be agreed. I am covid conscious and can align with your needs for safety in an in-person setting. I also work at the Wellbeing Centre in Swansea one day per week, and can provide face to face sessions at this location.
In addition to my counselling practice, I am a trained GSRD (Gender, Sex, Relationship Diversities) trainer, having completed specialised training with Pink Therapies. I bring compassion and confidence to my work with LGBTQ+ individuals, those in alternative relationship models (such as ENM and polyamory), gender-questioning and trans clients, as well as those in kink and power exchange relationships. My approach is rooted in providing a safe, non-judgmental space, enriched by my lived experience within these communities and relationship styles. I understand your unique challenges and dynamics and am here to support you with empathy and respect.
My goal is to help you start loving yourself the way you were always meant to. I will support you every step of the way on your journey to healing and self-acceptance.
