About me and my therapy practice
I have been supervising trainees in Psychodynamic work for over 10 years and have recently completed the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF) Supervision Course.
My consulting room is in Northwood (North West London) and I also see clients remotely via Zoom.
I have been working as a psychodynamic therapist for the last 18 years with students in a London university, with staff in the Higher Education Sector and with private clients. Before training as a therapist I had worked for over 20 years in industry.
Practice description
I provide a very supportive and non-judgemental environment for supervisees. I encourage open conversations about what is working or not working with the clients and in the supervisory relationship itself.

I will use the first session as an opportunity for us to get to know each other and find out if there is a good supervisory match.

About me and my therapy practice
My consulting room is in Northwood (North West London) and I also see clients remotely via Zoom.
I see people on a one to one basis and provide a safe and supportive environment in which clients can discuss their challenges and problems. I aim to create a warm and compassionate space for all clients.
Over the years, I have worked with clients with a wide range of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, family, interpersonal and relationship problems, bereavement, work and academic problems, including perfectionism and procrastination.
I work with people on a short, medium and long-term basis.
I have been working as a psychodynamic therapist for the last 18 years with students in a London university, with staff in the Higher Education Sector and with private clients. Before training as a therapist I worked for over 20 years in industry.
Practice description
I work with clients in an exploratory way, trying to make sense of their experiences and difficulties. Sometimes this may involve looking at patterns of behaviour and how those patterns may link to their own family and early experiences.
I am also very focused on current relationships and experiences and support people in trying to make changes in their lives.
My first session
I use the first session as an opportunity to get to know the client and for them to get to know me and find out more about the way I work.
If we decide that there is a good match, I will ask them to complete a short form, including GP details and make arrangements for ongoing sessions.
