About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Caroline, a qualified Integrative counsellor. I'm proud to work with clients from all cultures, ethnicities & sexual orientations. As a counsellor, I work with my clients by acknowledging that they are indeed human. I offer them time and space to process through their experiences as I listen with non-judgement or discrimination.
My counselling style supports my clients to explore what is troubling or preventing them from being able to heal and move forward. I also support clients in gaining perspective on what may need to change within their lives and how they can cope better during challenging times.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), HACP and The Black African & Asian Therapy Network (BAANT). I currently work with clients both within the UK and overseas via Zoom. I also offer 'Walk & Talk' outdoor therapy sessions in Southampton, Fareham and Portsmouth.
I can support you with issues surrounding: Adoption, Abuse, Anger, Anxiety, Asylum seeking, Bullying, Bereavement, Chronic illness, Cancer, Climate change, Confidence, Disability, Employment, FGM, Gender, Identity, Inter-racial issues, LGBTQI+, Life transitions, Loss, Menopause, Racism, Relationships, Self-worth, Sexuality, Sex & Stress.
Everyone deals with life differently and there isn't a 'one-way' approach when working with my clients. You can take as long as you need to work through your issues, one step at a time.
