About me and my therapy practice

As a psychodynamic counsellor, I offer a safe space for you to talk and think about about the difficulties you are facing. I will be with you, to help make connections with events and feelings in your life and how they affect you in the here and now. I work long term with adult clients to assist in a deeper understanding of the self.

Practice description

I am based in South Lanarkshire, working from a private therapy room in Strathaven or counselling centre in Coatbridge (North Lanarkshire).

My first session

The first session is a consultation, to find out whether the psychodynamic approach is right for you.

I will go through the therapy agreement with you which outlines confidentiality, booking and and cancellation policies. The agreement will be signed and dated should you choose to to work with me.

There is also an opportunity to say more about what brings you to therapy.
