About me and my therapy practice
I’m a relationship counsellor specialising in relationship counselling, sexuality and identity, creative blocks, and spirituality. I work with people of all genders and offer LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling.
My work is relational and exploratory, with a particular interest in how early experiences shape adult relationships, intimacy, and self-understanding.
Clients often come to see me because of repeating relationship patterns, attachment issues, intimacy difficulties, or confusion around sexuality or gender identity. I also work with sexual trauma, creative burnout, addiction, and recovery from spiritual abuse.
I offer a non-judgemental, reflective approach to counselling, helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to move towards healthier, more sustainable ways of living and relating.
I’m based in Hastings East Sussex, offering in-person sessions, and online counselling across the UK and Europe.
Please see my website for more information.
Practice description
I offer online counselling across the UK and Europe, and offer face-to-face appointments where I live in Hastings, East Sussex.
I work in a relational way, placing the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the work. Sessions are led by your pace and concerns, rather than a fixed agenda or technique.
Through building trust, safety, and mutual understanding, we co-create a relationship that can can support reflection, growth, and change over time. Feeling seen and heard with compassion allows space for greater honesty and vulnerability, and over time this can help you reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been lost or protected for a long while.
The psychologist Carl Rogers wrote, “We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.” This principle sits at the heart of my work. Through consistent acceptance, curiosity, and care, therapy becomes a place where self-awareness and self-acceptance can grow. From this place, change often unfolds gradually and organically, in ways that feel both subtle and deeply meaningful.
My first session
The initial session is an opportunity for us to see whether we feel like a good fit to work together. We’ll explore what has brought you to counselling at this point and what you’re hoping to gain from the process. You’re welcome to ask any questions you have about therapy or about how I work.
We’ll also talk about practicalities, such as confidentiality, boundaries, and how sessions are structured, so you have a clear sense of what to expect. There’s no obligation to continue after the first session; it’s a space to begin the conversation and decide whether working together feels right for you.
The initial session is charged at my standard fee and lasts 50 minutes.
