About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to stop by.
I’m Lynne, a counsellor based in Arundel, West Sussex. I offer face-to-face and online counselling sessions, making it easier for you to find a time that works, wherever you are in the UK.
Whatever you're going through, please know that you are not alone, even if it feels like it right now.
Life, relationships, work and families can be tough and sometimes we just need someone to talk to. Being heard without judgment can make all the difference if you're struggling. I want you to know you don’t have to face this alone.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, processing childhood experiences, or navigating struggles in relationships, we can work together to explore and address these challenges. My goal is to support you in building resilience, finding calm, and rediscovering joy. Together, we’ll work toward helping you move forward in a way that feels right for you, allowing you to embrace life with courage, self-confidence, and authenticity.
Counselling is a very personal experience, and what works for one person may not work for another, so finding the right Counsellor is key.
If you’d like a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone or Zoom call to see whether I’m the right person to support you on your journey, please get in touch.
Practice description
II work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and difficulties in relationships or family life. My aim is to help you develop a stronger sense of self and find ways to move forward with greater confidence.
Alongside my private practice, I have volunteered with a non-profit counselling service in West Sussex, supporting children, young people, adults, and families, as well as working with teenagers in secondary school settings.
These experiences have shaped my understanding of how important it is to feel supported within a safe and compassionate space. Today, my practice is focused on working with clients aged 16+ and adults, helping them build resilience, self-confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check, always prioritising safety, trust, and professionalism. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive environment where you can feel empowered to explore what you’re going through and create meaningful change.
My qualifications include:
Certificate in Counselling Skills - CARA Counselling Training
Certificate in Counselling Studies - West Sussex Counselling Training
BACP Approved Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling - West Sussex Counselling Training
Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health - West Nottinghamshire College
Certificate in Trauma Informed Counselling - Open University
Certificate in Facilitating Therapeutic Groups - Creative Counsellors
My first session
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially whether it’s your first time or not, so it’s completely natural to feel unsure. Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the process.
To help you decide, I offer a free, no-obligation phone or Zoom call. This gives you the chance to ask any questions, talk briefly about what you’re looking for, and see whether I feel like the right fit for you.
Our first session will focus on getting to know each other and exploring what has brought you to counselling. We’ll discuss your goals and begin to shape our work together in a way that feels supportive, focused, and tailored to your needs.
If you’d like to arrange your free call, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email.
