Research is not everybody’s cup of tea. Many people find it off-putting, intimidating, irrelevant or boring. At BACP we’re on a mission to change this perception and would love to welcome you to our vibrant, energetic, exciting and friendly Annual International Research Conference.
This session will give you a taste of what you can expect at the research conference and aims to give you a better understanding of the value of research to your practice by
- introducing you to the range of work undertaken by the BACP research team
- highlighting BACP’s Annual International Research Conference and bursaries available to support your attendance
- signposting eligibility criteria and application processes for the bursaries
- sharing accounts and stories from recent winners of bursaries
- giving you an overview of BACP’s research resources help you find, understand and evaluate research to use in your training and practice
