Andrew Reeves and Patrick Cawley discuss Section C of the new Ethical Framework - Core responsibility 3, understand and act on their legal responsibilities.

They discuss what this means in practice, and how they can inform your therapeutic work and ethical decision-making.

Using Ethics essential resources

These resources are not contractually binding on members but provide information, observations and questions to help you make ethical decisions within your practice.

Individual practice issues are often complex and will vary depending on your clients, models of working, the context of the work and the kind of therapeutic intervention provided. We'd always recommend discussing practice dilemmas with a supervisor, a legal advisor or another suitably qualified and experienced professional.
