Presentation Summary - Integrating Coaching into your Private Practice

This session will explore how coaching can sit alongside psychotherapy to support clients who are ready to move from insight into action. As therapists, we are skilled at helping clients understand their experiences and process emotional pain. Increasingly, however, clients are also asking for support to move forward with purposeful and wiser decision making.

This talk introduces a neuroscience-informed coaching modality that compliments rather than replaces psychotherapy. Drawing on research into the neural networks of the brain, heart, and gut, mBIT Coaching provides therapists with practical skills for hybrid working.  Elizabeth will discuss how coaching can be integrated within a therapeutic journey. We might then discuss and debate the distinctions between therapy and coaching and explore how counsellors and psychotherapists can confidently expand their professional skill set through coach certification. Whether you are curious about integrating coaching into your current practice or looking to diversify your professional offering, this session will provide an engaging introduction to an innovative and research-informed coaching approach. Attendees will leave with an understanding of the model and how coaching can support their professional development and client outcomes.
