About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Anna. I am a fully qualified and registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, NLP Therapist and Coach based in London.

I trained at the Gestalt Centre in London and received a MSc in The Psychodynamics of Human Development (Jungian Analytic Stream) from the Birkbeck University of London and an M.Phil from the University of Adam Mickiewicz.

I completed a postgraduate diploma in coaching, as well as further training. I have purposely studied with some of the best trainers in the world such as the co-founders of NLP, Dr John Grinder and Richard Bandler, as well as world-renowned Hypnotherapists Paul McKenna.

My professional experience includes working as a Bereavement Counsellor at Royal Trinity Hospice and as a Therapist at SLCS Centre. Between January 2018 and October 2020, I served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Polish Association of Psychologists. . A highlight of my career to date has been serving as a coach, mentor and trainer; working with various Women’s Development Programmes to support the movement of systematic change.

Practice description

I have drawn much of the orientation and inspiration for my practice both from the Gestalt perspective and methodology, and also from Eastern thought. I am strongly influenced by the work of Carl Gustav Jung.

Through understanding my own therapeutic journey, I have selected the most useful tools to assist you in the healing process and to identify patterns in your life that are no longer serving you to live a complete and fulfilling life. I seek to bring them into the therapy room integrating Gestalt practice with attachment theory, mindfulness, contemporary relational psychodynamic and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

I use creative and experiential techniques with emphasis on the use of empathy, understanding, and unconditional acceptance. I focus on embodiment, relational therapy, and diversity.

I feel honoured to be able to bring these tools into your life now.

My first session

I offer an initial 15-minute online chat, so we can discuss how we might work together and get a sense of each other.
