About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe, reliable, confidential space where you talk about the issues that are affecting you. In my approach we explore your past and present relationships with people to make sense and understand your present difficulties. Central to my work is the understanding of the unconscious mind to facilitate awareness of yourself and elicit change.
If you are feeling depressed or anxious, empty or stuck and perhaps confused about your feelings or don’t know what your feelings are, counselling and psychotherapy can help you.
I offer both short term focus and long-term therapy and work with adults of diverse backgrounds, gender and sexual orientations.
The sessions are 50 minutes and are held at the same day and time of the week.
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and therapist registered with the BACP and abide to their ethical framework. I have over five years’ experience in mental health within the public sector working with addiction. Alongside my private practice I work in the charity sector at Waterloo Community Counselling in the Southbank.
Before becoming a therapist, I practiced as an artist both in Peru and London and I have a Master Degree in Visual Arts from the University of The Arts London at Central Saint Martins.
I have experience working with people who experience anxiety and depression, addiction, panic attacks, depersonalisation, feelings of emptiness, loneliness and isolation.
