As I continue to work part-time in education, I tend to offer counselling sessions on Thursdays and Fridays. Please get in touch with me to see what times might be mutually convenient.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach to counselling is integrative - this means that I draw on a range of different therapeutic approaches in developing ways of working that are bespoke to each individual. However, my work is founded most on the person-centred approach which values empathy, warm acceptance and realness in the process of becoming fully 'us'. I work with children, young people and adults on whatever issues may bring them to counselling.
I have access to a counselling room in Darlington town centre as well as a garden office at home. I also offer counselling online via Zoom. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to their ethical standards.
