About me and my therapy practice
I am qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in Transactional Analysis. My private practice is located near Chancery Lane and Holborn in central London, and I offer counselling to individuals and to couples, for both open ended and short term fixed periods.
I provide a safe and confidential space for my clients to talk and explore the challenges they are facing in their lives and to make meaning of feelings, thoughts and beliefs they may be have. In some situations, this may mean exploring past events and trauma, and how it could be impacting life today and the relationship you have with yourself and with those around you.
You may have a goal or outcome you'd like to achieve but often you may not and that is okay.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients from different backgrounds and I positively support and work with LGBTQ+ clients and couples.
In my practice, I work with a relational and integrative framework, drawing on humanistic, existential and psychoanalytic approaches. This means I can adapt my approach to best suit a client's personal needs, respecting their individuality, experience, and their capacity to decide and choose their own destiny. It also means that our relationship is important to your therapy as we co-create a space that can bring about change.
Before my career in mental health as a therapist, I worked for a number of global corporate organisations. This experience also included mentoring and coaching, which puts me in a good position to understand how challenges in our working life can impact on our sense of self, and other areas of our life and relationships.
