About me and my therapy practice
I work from a humanistic perspective tailoring my approach to suit each clients needs. I have nearly 15 years experience of working within NHS and Mental & Sexual health settings. I have had specialised training enabling me to work effectively with clients from LGBTQ+ Communities and have deep understanding of the issues and challenges minority groups can encounter. I draw from an integrative approach and have significant experience of working with trauma and the body. I have worked for Rape Crisis supporting males with experience of sexual violence. If suitable I may incorporate mindfulness into my practice to help clients manage and minimise anxiety and panic attack symptoms and help restore emotional regulation.
I am an experienced therapist working with all sectors of the community. I particularly welcome clients form LGBTQ+ backgrounds.
I am available for face to face sessions along with some online video work.
in addition to my therapy training I am also an accredited Mindfulness Now teacher and incorporate aspects of mindfulness within my client work where appropriate.
