I see clients either in person or online. I also meet clients outside and offer walking therapy as the interaction between nature and mental health can be beneficial for the client, offering a unique and relaxing way of experiencing therapy.

Sessions are offered between Monday and Friday. I currently have availability for new clients.

Fees:

£35 for an introductory session, £50 for an online session, £60 for a walking session, and £65 for a face to face session. I see face to face clients in Kingston Upon Thames & Little Venice and usually see walking clients in Richmond Park but can be elsewhere.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a relational and integrative approach. Being an integrative psychotherapist means my sessions incorporate several approaches including humanistic, transpersonal, and psychodynamic. This benefits my clients as I can adopt an approach that is most suitable for them. As well as traditional talking therapy, when appropriate and if accepted by the client, I use body work, the use of movement, and creative tools including art, drama, and dream work as an alternative way to work with client issues.

My first session

Finding a therapist can feel daunting. How will you know if the therapist is right for you? There’s only so much you can determine from a photograph or from a brief bio about a therapist. This is why I suggest we have a session where we get to know each other a little and see whether we can work together. I offer a reduced fee of £35 for this introductory session as we won’t be doing any of the deeper work but the time is spent doing a brief assessment and then looking at whether we can envisage developing a therapeutic relationship together. This is an essential step for me. Why is this so important?

Because this is what therapy is to me: a relationship. Often dubbed a ‘therapeutic alliance’, this relationship is fundamental and crucial for any positive change that is to happen. It is through this connection that successful therapy is found.

Types of therapy

Brief therapy, CBT, Creative therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Person centred, Play therapy, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy, Transactional analysis, Transpersonal

Clients I work with

Adults, Couples, Families, Groups, Organisations, Trainee, Young people

How I deliver therapy

Home visits, Long term sessions, Long-term face-to-face work, Online counselling, Outdoor therapy, Short term sessions, Short-term face-to-face work, Telephone counselling, Time-limited
