About me and my therapy practice
I understand that life’s problems are unique and complex to all individuals, particularly in these difficult times. As a qualified BACP registered counsellor, I am committed to helping clients find a way to overcome their problems and move forward with their lives.
I have experience of working with the following; family issues, anxiety, work related difficulties, stress, relationship problems, low self-esteem and confidence, depression, low mood and feeling sad, generalised anxiety disorder, unresolved childhood issues, anger management and bereavement.
As an Integrative counsellor, I take the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations. Rather, each person needs to be considered as a whole and counselling techniques must be tailored to your individual needs and personal circumstances.
I currently offer face to face, Zoom or telephone appointments.
Appointments can be conducted on a single session or regular weekly/fortnightly basis.
My first session
This session is an opportunity for us to meet in person.
You can explain in more detail what’s brought you to counselling and how you’d ideally like to feel and think as a result of the counselling.
If we decide we want to work together, we will complete some formal procedures including setting up a client record and arrange to speak weekly or fortnightly at a convenient time.
If you prefer to meet for a single session, we will work in a more coaching style to identify and address your needs within the session.
