AvailabilityDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, I am offering sessions online or by phone while meeting in person is not possible due to government restrictions.
I am available for an initial session which is free of charge (in person or by video call), which gives us a chance to see if we would like to work together and for you to ask any questions you may have. The session will explore your current circumstances and some details of your history. We can use our time together for you to share what is going on in your life, and what brings you to seek counselling.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer you a safe, confidential space where you can explore those difficult moments in your life. I am there to help you navigate through your difficult experiences, hurts and distresses, or other moments you need to share with someone. I will provide you with the necessary conditions to help you navigate through your difficult experiences. My work as a Counsellor reflects three core beliefs:
1. Being genuine, so you can successfully explore the issues that have brought you to seek help and find your way through them.
2. Being accepting, caring and empathic, giving you the opportunity to increase your self-understanding and manage your life in a more constructive, satisfying, and healthy way.
3. Providing a non-judgmental and safe place to share your experiences as we work together to explore your actions, thoughts, and feelings.
Our life experiences shape us in unique and particular ways and opening up what has been difficult for us requires kindness and compassion from ourselves and others if we are to heal and grow. While it may take time, it is in the here and now that we learn to work with the difficulties of our lives, and that is where healing happens.
Together, we will explore your current feelings and circumstances and you can start to bring about changes in your life, and your relationships with yourself and others.
